CMT Employees Go “Above & Beyond” in Their Service to Clients

Ben Cooley, Andrew Schlichting and Katie Ulrich

Three CMT employees received Above & Beyond Awards at the firm’s annual Recognition Celebration in September. Ben Cooley, Andrew Schlichting and Katie Ulrich were each selected as winners of the firm’s highest internal award for outstanding performance. The award is presented to nominees who exemplify, through tireless effort and proven expertise, CMT’s commitment to deliver exceptional value by personally investing in their clients’ goals.

Cooley is an aviation and transportation professional in CMT’s Columbus, OH office. He was honored for his work at an Ohio airport for which his leadership was cited for overcoming significant challenges, while achieving the client’s vision for the project. Cooley’s efforts also positively promoted the firm’s brand in Ohio, leading to other opportunities.

Schlichting was recognized for his exceptional performance on three major transportation projects in the St. Louis area. All of the projects were fast-tracked for completion and detail-oriented, resulting in a demanding workload that Schlichting responded to with creativity, versatility and a determination to get the work done to the clients’ complete satisfaction.

Working out of CMT’s Indianapolis office, Ulrich was nominated for the Above & Beyond Award by her co-workers based on her project leadership, contribution to corporate performance goals and commitment to mentoring new employees through the firm’s Young Professionals Planning Group. She has also distinguished herself as a valuable resource for the design and implementation of green stormwater infrastructure and 3D railroad modeling.

CMT would like to congratulate these three valued employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the year, and for going Above & Beyond in their service to the firm and our clients.
