JUL 27, 2012: The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) presented CMT with the 2012 Exceptional Service Award in the Rural Highway category. The firm was honored for their work on the I-57/IL 13 Interchange Reconstruction Project located in Marion, Illinois. The award was presented on June 8, at the annual luncheon sponsored by the Illinois chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
“We greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with District 9 and the department on this assignment. Our team truly enjoyed designing a project of this magnitude,” said Stan Hansen, group manager of CMT’s Springfield-based Highways & Bridges unit.
The 2012 award marks the fourth time in the past seven years that CMT has won an Exceptional Service Award. In 2008, CMT received the Harry R. Hanley Award, IDOT’s highest recognition, for their work on the McKinley Bridge Reconstruction Project
